ACTIVE-INGREDIENT OF OXITROPIL 1200 MG 60 TAB

Each film coated tablet contains: 1200 mg piracetam.

INDICATION OF OXITROPIL 1200 MG 60 TAB

Oxitropil is indicated in the following: Cerebrovascular Pathology related to aging : memory deficit, decrease in intellectual efficiency and concentration, adaptation disorders disturbed psychomotor reactions. Cerebrovascular insufficiency. Post stroke. Post traumatic syndrome: cerebral dysfunction related to post traumatic sequelae (Headache, vertigo and agitation). Symptomatic relief of vertigo & dizziness. Vasospastic disorders as raynaud’s phenomenon. Chronic alcoholism and addiction. Pediatric therapy: ease of resuming individual contacts, sociability and learning, improve intellectual performance.

DOSAGE OF OXITROPIL 1200 MG 60 TAB

The recommended dose is : –

Adult: Initial dose , 2 tablets daily & dose may be increased up to 20 gm daily on divided doses according to the severity of the case, and the response of the case.

OVER-DOSAGE OF OXITROPIL 1200 MG 60 TAB

Extra oral dose may cause intra intestinal disturbances.

CONTRA-INDICATION OF OXITROPIL 1200 MG 60 TAB

Hypersensitivity to any component of the tablet. Cerebral hemorrhage and any severe bleeding problems. Hepatic and severe renal impairments.
