ACTIVE-INGREDIENT OF ITRAFUNGEX 4 CAP

each hard gelatin capsule contains : active ingredients : itraconazole 100 mg

INDICATION OF ITRAFUNGEX 4 CAP

itraconazole caqpsules are4 indicated for the treatment of the following fungal infections . Oropharyngeal , vulvovaginal candidasis , tinea , blastomycosis , histoplasmosis , aspergillosis and onychomycosis .

DOSAGE OF ITRAFUNGEX 4 CAP

Ask your pharmacist or doctor for help if you do not understand the instructions on the box .

The recommended dose is : –

to be taken after meal directly . – oropharyngeal candidasis 100 mg daily for 15 days , vulvovaginal candidasis 200 mg twice daily for one day . Tinea corporis 100 mg daily for 15 days . Tinea pedis & tinea manuum 200 mg daily for 7 days . Pityriasis versicolor 200 mg daily for 7 days . systemic aspergillosis , candidasis and cryptococcosis including cryptocopccal meningitis 200 mg once daily increase to 200 mg twice daily .

OVER-DOSAGE OF ITRAFUNGEX 4 CAP

CONTRA-INDICATION OF ITRAFUNGEX 4 CAP

itrafungex ( itraconazole ) capsules should not be administered in patients with evidence of ventricular dysfunction such as congestive heart failure (CHF) or a history of CHF . ITRACONAZOLE CONTRAINDICATED in patient who has known hypersensitivity to itraconazole or the excipients of the drug .
